What is involved with the One to One Sessions?

Dogs

Toni can work with your dog on a one to one basis. Either at your home (depending on distance); her base in Reading; Greyfriars Rehab Centre, Guildford or a secure paddock at the Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre (DBARC) in Hurst near Wokingham.

It is recommended you consider having between 3 to 5 sessions to be able to work through issues, learn the skills required to continue your dog's progress and become comfortable with the training methods.

Within the sessions your dog will be assessed, a history or update obtained and work undertaken towards helping them and you with the issue.

Goals will also be set for the owner to work on between sessions.

Sessions can be weekly or every other week depending on the owners preference.

Cats, birds and small animals

Most owners prefer for their cats and small animals to be seen in their home environment however some people do bring them to Toni's base in Reading.

Generally smaller animals need less sessions so it is recommended you consider having between 1 to 3 sessions to be able to work through issues, learn the skills required to continue your animal's progress and become comfortable with the training methods.

Within the sessions your animal will be assessed, a history or update obtained and work undertaken towards helping them and you with the issue.

Goals will also be set for the owner to work on between sessions.

Session Details

Practising in Reading, Hurst and Guildford

Home visits by arrangement

The first session is around two hours. In this time Toni will gather history, assess and work with your animal and then teach you any relevant work. Any further sessions are around one to one and half hours long. There is no clock watching involved we simple work until we are done.

Travel will be charged as well as session fees for animals seen in their home environment. Toni will travel a radius of between 25 to 30 miles of Reading.

Toni also works with captive wild animals.
